The Differences in Durability between Traditional Paper and Stone Paper

Traditional paper and stone paper have significant differences in durability.
Traditional paper is generally made from wood pulp or other natural fibers. It is vulnerable to various factors. For example, it has poor water resistance. When exposed to water, even a small amount of moisture can cause the paper to warp, become soft, and the ink may smear, making it difficult to read the content on the paper. In addition, traditional paper is not very tear-resistant. With frequent use or accidental pulling, it is easy to tear, reducing its service life.
On the contrary, stone paper shows excellent durability. It is mainly composed of stone powder and a small amount of resin, which gives it strong water resistance. It can maintain its shape and integrity even when soaked in water for a long time, and the printed content will not be affected. Moreover, stone paper is highly tear-resistant. It can withstand greater tensile forces and is not easily damaged during normal use or handling, thus having a longer service life and better meeting the needs of long-term use in different environments.
