His first visit was exploratory. This one was transformative.

Inside the Processing Plant: Where Stone Meets Precision

During his two-day visit, Sanjay toured the newly upgraded stone paper processing facility. Unlike traditional wood-pulp paper mills, YH’s plant operates with zero water waste and no tree logging. The core raw material? Calcium carbonate from quarried stone waste—combined with a non-toxic HDPE binder.

Sanjay observed:

The extrusion line where stone powder transforms into a continuous paper sheet.

The coating section that adds water-resistance and printability.

The slitting and rewinding units that customize rolls for Indian packaging standards.

“The efficiency here is remarkable,” Sanjay noted. “No bleaching, no acid treatment, no felling of trees. India needs exactly this for its plastic ban transition.”
