Advantages of stone paper compared to traditional paper

Stone paper has significant advantages in environmental protection. Compared with traditional paper, the production process of stone paper is more energy-saving and environmentally friendly. Traditional papermaking requires a lot of water and produces wastewater, but the entire production process of stone paper does not require water, avoiding the generation of wastewater at the source. At the same time, traditional papermaking will also emit waste gas and cause pollution to the environment, while stone paper does not produce waste gas during the production process.
For example, according to statistics, traditional papermaking consumes about 100 cubic meters of water per ton of paper and also produces a large amount of wastewater and waste gas. In the production process of stone paper, each ton of paper only consumes a small amount of electricity and raw materials, does not produce waste water and waste gas, and has minimal impact on the environment.
In addition, the raw materials of stone paper are mainly stone powder, plastics and adhesives. These raw materials come from a wide range of sources and most of them can be recycled. In contrast, the raw material of traditional paper is mainly wood. The growth of wood requires a lot of time and resources, and excessive cutting of wood will damage the ecological environment.
