Advantages and limitations of stone paper: analysis of applicable scenarios

As a new type of environmentally friendly material, stone paper is constantly expanding its application range due to its unique physical properties. Its waterproof, tear-resistant and high weather resistance make it particularly good for outdoor applications. For example, outdoor leaflets, waterproof labels, maps, marine manuals, etc., scenes that traditional paper is difficult to handle, stone paper can easily cope with.
At the same time, its flexibility and surface texture also make it suitable for high-end packaging and printing fields, such as cosmetic packaging, boutique boxes, art albums, etc. But stone paper is not without shortcomings. For example, it is easy to deform under high temperature conditions and is not suitable for laser printers (the hot melt process will affect the material). In addition, the compatibility of its printing ink is still being optimized, and there is a certain threshold for some printing equipment.
In general, stone paper is more suitable for use scenarios that require waterproofing, anti-fouling, and long-term preservation, and is not suitable for large-scale printing of ordinary office documents or books. In the future, with the upgrading of technology, its scope of application still has great room for expansion.
